Take a look at our links below and find the Game Room Items that best suit your needs. The Billiard Tables are a complete set and include cloth, feather strips, pockets and slate. Northwoods Billiards has been manufacturing quality furniture since 1979. Made in Minnesota, each piece has it's own personality with knots, cracks and grooves that no other piece will have. One of a kind pieces since no two trees are alike!
Built out of either Ponderosa or Norway Pine. Ponderosa pine grows on the west coast and is a very majestic tree which has high structural strength and yet has the beauty and character of the log look. Norway Pine grows in the upper Midwestern states and it is a stable wood with a lot of character.
The cabinet body is assembled at the factory (no brackets and screws). The outside perimeter is 7-ply plywood, the center body and cross beams are laminated 14-ply. There are support braces over the leg mounts to provide greater strength. All the joints are glued and contain support blocks. Once the body is assembled,the cabinet is machined to a flat surface to within five one-thousandths of an inch, using a computerized router. This ensures that the slate will lie on a truly flat horizontal plane. Each cabinet, except the Knotty Pine, is wrapped with hand drawnknifed Ponderosa pine to carry the log look throughout the table.
The unirail combines both the top rail and the side skirt into one. Made of the finest furniture grade pine that is kiln dried down to 8% moisture content. Each pine rail is hand drawnknifed to give it it's own character and signature. No two rails will ever be identical.
The Red Cedar tables are built the same as the pin tables only it's a different wood.
Important information about Logs:
Knots: are a part of the natural beauty and character.
Season Checking (cracks) are part of the natural drying process of logs and adds character. Season Checking does not affect the structural integrity of the product.
